The Daily Mirror recently ran an article about hotels in the UK where you can take your dog for afternoon tea and a spa!!
As im sure you as a dog owner will know, finding a hotel that caters to your dog isn’t always an easy task, hence the launch of Holiday Lets with Pets.
There are so many brilliant dog-friendly hotels in the UK, and more and more are become dog friendly as dog ownership increases in the UK.
Believe it or not – and you may or may not have searched for such a place, but there are hotels in the UK toffer more than a welcome to you and your dog. Some hotels offer afternoon tea for dogs, and spa for dogs! Yesterday I was writting about an apartment that you can rent in Valencia that is set up for dog lovers with dog beds and more.
The Mirrors article lists 10 Hotels that offer you more than a place to stay with your dog, so here goes :-
The Fish Hotel, the Cotswolds
For dogs: Cosy beds, dog bowls throughout the hotel, a special pet towel. Dogs can also tuck into a specifically-designed afternoon tea menu or have a pint with their humans thanks to the dog-friendly beer in the bar.

For dogs: Pooches get pampered with a welcome massage, dog spa treatments and even embroidered towels. There are also dog walking and sitting services for the days when their human wants to go exploring.
For humans: Swanky rooms in one of London‘s fanciest neighbourhoods, Knightsbridge, a stone’s throw from the likes of Harrods. Indulge thanks to the fine dining menu or unwind in the hotel’s chic bar and lounge after a day of sightseeing.
For dogs: Start the day with a pet-friendly sausage breakfast, unwind in the pet-friendly lounge or go exploring the various dog-friendly pubs and gardens in the area.
The Crooked Inn, Saltash
For dogs: The inn owners have a team of puppies and resident ducks to help them in their daily duties so there’s plenty of animal-friendly amenities. Oh, to go exploring there are plenty of dog-friendly beaches and pubs.
For humans: Traditional Cornish hospitality at this family-run inn with a homely feel. Cosy rooms, ensuite bathrooms and the restaurant serving up some classic British grub.
For dogs: Dog-friendly accommodation and a restaurant with a terrace where pets can hang out with their owners and take in views of the garden.
For humans: An indoor pool, spa, sauna, gym, restaurant and bar, spacious bedrooms and cosy cottages.
For dogs: All of the hotel’s bedrooms are dog-friendly, but the real highlight are the double terrace rooms with a small garden where dogs can roam free while humans relax.
For humans: This romantic hotel is a 10-minute walk from Poole Harbour and ideal for a seaside getaway. Think chic, spacious rooms with contemporary designs and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
For dogs: 13 dog-friendly rooms, luxury amenities (this is a VIP Access by Expedia hotel) and a restaurant which welcomes pooches and has everything you need including dog bowls. Ideal for when you want to treat your human to a glamorous getaway.

Elveden Inn, Thetford
For humans: Spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a homely feel (including dog-inspired artwork), a library and lounge, gardens and a restaurant.
For dogs: Dog-friendly rooms, dog bowls and heaps of brilliant walks in the countryside to give your owner a bit of exercise.
For humans: An idyllic retreat in the Cheshire countryside with elegant rooms, plenty of breathtaking walking spots nearby and a restaurant which has an AA dining award for quality.
